6. Ranar 4 watan Mayu 2002 mutane 72 sun mutum bayan da jirgin saman BAC One-Eleben wanda ya tashim Kano ya yada zango Jos ya sauka Legas ya fadi jim kadan bayan tashi daga tashar jirgin sama ta Kano.
Sashen kula da lafiyar yanayin da tashar jirgi take ya bayyana cewa: “Jim kadan bayan tashin jirgin saman daga Kano sai aka ga ya daina tafiya ya fadi a wurin da yake da dandazon mutane wato Gwammaja wanda kilomita daya ne daga tashar jirgin sama ta Kano.
Ya fadi akan gida mai hawa biyu ya kuma raba Masallaci biyu bayan ya rarrabu yak ama da wuta,ya lalata gidaje 23 a Gwammaja tare da makaranta da Masallaci.”
Bayan da jirgin ya fadi an bar jirgin har kwana 52 saboda rashin ingancin injin shi.Ya fadi bayan an yi awa goma aka sa ma shi wani injin jirgin da ba a aiki da shi.
