Wata kungiya mai fafukatar yaki da cin hanci a Nijeriya (SERAP) ta maka gwamnatin shugahan kasa Bola Ahmed Tinubu a kotu bisa abin da ta kira “Haramtaccen hanawa da dakatar da ‘yan jarida 25 da aka tantance daukowa da yada labarai daga fadar shugahan kasa.”
A cewar rahotonni, gwamnatin tarayya a ranar 18 ga watan Agustan 2023 ta janye izinin tantancewa da sahalewar ‘tags’ da ke bai wa ‘yan jarida 25 da gidajen yada labarai damar shiga fadar shugaban kasa domin dauko rahotonnin abubuwan da ke faruwa a fadar shugaban kasa, Abuja.
An shaida wa ‘yan jaridan da lamarin ya shafa da su mika shaidar izinin shiga da aka basu ‘tags’ a mashigar babbar kofar fadar shugaban kasa.
Sai dai, SERAP ta ce haramcin ya saba da doka kuma bai dace ba kwata-kwata.
A kara mai lambar alama (FHC/L/CS/1766/23) da SERAP ta shigar a gaban babban kotun tarayya da ke Legas, ta roki, “Kotu da ta bada umarni da tilasta wa shugaban kasa Bola Tinubu janye haramta wa ‘yan jarida 25 da gidajen watsa labarai daga dauka da yada harkokin da suke faruwa a Villa.”
Kazalika, SERAP ta roki kotun da ta hana shugaba Tinubu, kowace hukuma, wani ko wasu daga janye izinin shiga fadar shugaban kasa ga ‘yan jarida masu farauto labarai ba tare da dalili na doka ba domin kauce wa tauye hakkin fadin albarkacin baki, take hakkin samun bayanai da kuma tauye wa gidajen jaridu hakkinsu.
A cewar SERAP idan har ba a tilasta wa gwamnatin janye wannan matakin nata ba, akwai yiyuwar hakan ya bude ma wasu dama su dukufa tauye hakkin samun bayanai, kasancewa cikin lamura da ‘yancin gidajen yada labarai.
Lauyoyi Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa (SAN), Kolawole Oluwadare, da Ms Valentina Adegoke, su ne suka shigar da karar a madadin SERAP, kungiyar ta ce, ‘yan jarida na taka muhimmiyar rawa don haka da bukatar su samu cikakken damar samun bayanai domin kyautata demukuradiya.
