Hukumar Yaki da Yi Wa Tattalin Arzikin Kasa Ta’annati (EFCC), ta kai karar tsohon Gwamnan Jihar Jigawa, Sule Lamido da dansa, Mustapha Lamido kotun koli a ranar 25 ga Yuli, 2023 daga Kotun daukaka kara ta Abuja.
An gurfanar da tsohon gwamnan tare da ‘ya’yansa biyu, Aminu da Mustapha, Aminu Wada Abubakar, da kamfanoninsu, Bamaina Holdings Ltd da Speeds International Ltd a gaban mai shari’a Ijeoma Ojukwu na babbar kotun tarayya da ke Abuja kan tuhume-tuhume 37 na halasta kudaden haram da ya kai Naira biliyan 1.35.

An zargi Lamido da cin zarafi a matsayinsa na gwamna tsakanin 2007 zuwa 2015 tare da karkatar da wasu makudan kudade da ya karba daga kamfanonin da gwamnatin jihar Jigawa ta ba shi kwangila a karkashinsa.
Shari’ar da ta fara a shekarar 2015, hukumar ta kira shaidu sama da 16 kafin ta rufe kararta.
Sai dai mai shari’a Ojukwu, ya yi watsi da batun, kuma ya amince da maganar da EFCC ta gabatar na cewa Lamido da sauran wadanda ake kara su amsa tare da umarce su kare kansu.
Lamido ya garzaya kotun daukaka kara inda ya ki amincewa da tuhumar da ake masa.
Kotun daukaka kara ta yanke hukuncin ne a ranar 25 ga watan Yuli, inda ta ce karar da wadanda ake kara suka shigar bai dace ba, ta yi watsi da tuhumar da ake yi musu, sannan ta sallami tsohon gwamnan da dansa.
Sai dai a cikin sanarwar daukaka kara da aka shigar a kotun koli mai dauke da kwanan watan 31 ga watan Yuli, 2023, EFCC na neman kotun kolin da ta yi watsi da dukkan hukuncin da kotun daukaka kara ta yanke tare da ba da umarnin a dawo da karar zuwa kotun koli.
