Wata babbar Kotun jihar Delta da ke Warri ta bayar da umarnin dakatar da hukumar shirya Jarrabawar shiga manyan makarantu (JAMB) daga aiwatar da sabuwar dokarta da ta kayyade shekarun shiga jami’a zuwa 16, har sai an kammala sauraron ƙarar da ake gabatarwa.
Wannan hukunci ya ƙalubalanci matakin da JAMB ta ɗauka a ranar 16 ga Oktoba, inda ta bayyana cewa duk wanda zai shiga jami’a dole ya kasance ya kai shekara 16 zuwa watan Agusta 2025.

Dokar ta kasance wani ɓangare na shirin ma’aikatar Ilimi da ke son saita shekara 18 a matsayin mafi ƙanƙanta na shiga jami’a, duk da cewa JAMB ta ba da wa’adi na shekara guda ga ɗaliban zangon karatu na 2024/2025.
Sai dai, John Aikpokpo-Martins, tsohon shugaban ƙungiyar lauyoyi ta Nijeriya reshen Warri, ya shigar da ƙara a madadin ɗalibai da aka haifa tsakanin Satumba 1 zuwa Disamba 31, 2009, waɗanda suka ci jarrabawar JAMB a bana. An zargi JAMB da Jami’ar Edwin Clark a matsayin waɗanda ake ƙara.
Mai shari’a Anthony Akpovi ya amince da roƙon da Aikpokpo-Martins ya gabatar, wanda ya haɗa da umarnin dakatar da JAMB daga aiwatar da dokar kayyade shekarun da kuma tabbatar da cewa ɗiyar mai ƙarar, Angel Aikpokpo-Martins, za ta ci gaba da samun damar shiga jami’ar har sai an kammala sauraron ƙarar gaba ɗaya.
Wannan hukunci zai ba wa waɗanda dokar ta shafa damar shiga jami’a har zuwa lokacin yanke hukunci na ƙarshe kan lamarin.
